This is Africa

Africa.  This is Africa.  Here is a collection of some of the terrifying jerks I've encountered (and some things that don't suck) throughout my experience romping around the bush

Insects built this mound of dirt.
It's a duck...on a wall.

Hey man.

Big spider found in Guija. In our house in Guija.

Camel Spider?  Yes.  Aggressive asshole? Also, yes.

He lives in my room in Namaacha.
Glad I wasn't around when this was alive.  Terrified because now I know they exist here.
Maria Cafe...harmless man-eater found all over the place, all of the time.

Mantis praying on a metal bar.

Meow you adorable little bastard.

Look, it's a cockroach that's as big as my cell phone.  No big deal.

This man-eater likes to terrorize my friend Anneke while she sleeps.

Meet the Karma Spider. He's about 4 inches in diameter, lives behind my house in the "Casa de Banho", and enjoys watching me bath if I come home too late.
